Political temperatures in the country have soared during the Monsoon Session. Opposition parties are staging aggressive protests across venues ranging from the Delhi Assembly to both Houses of Parliament. Recently, six Aam Aadmi Party MLAs were marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly on the Speaker's orders, further intensifying the war of words between the ruling dispensation and the opposition.

Even within the coalition government, tensions are evident among allies regarding policy issues and budgetary allocations. Following the announcement of special economic packages for states like Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, similar demands have emerged from other states, mounting both economic and political pressure on the central government.

The opposition camp is formulating a united strategy to oppose the 'One Nation, One Election' proposal and the new anti-defection reforms. They allege that the government intends to undermine the existence of regional parties under the guise of these reforms and is using investigative agencies to intimidate political opponents.

Meanwhile, the ruling party has reiterated its commitment to a 'zero-tolerance' policy against corruption, asserting that stringent laws are essential to ensure administrative transparency. With assembly elections in key states scheduled for the coming months, all parties are gearing up and mobilizing their full strength.

Political analysts believe that the ongoing parliamentary deadlock is hampering legislative business. If a dialogue between the ruling side and the opposition fails to materialize, this political tussle could spill over onto the streets, potentially stalling crucial policy decisions for an extended period.
