Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to appoint the first ever CEO for Ram Mandir complex in Ayodhya - a historic shift from traditional trust management to corporate governance.
The post will likely go to a senior IAS or corporate admin expert. Role: daily operations, financial management, IT infrastructure, crowd management for lakhs of daily devotees.
Administratively, Ayodhya is no longer just a religious town. It is a global tourism and cultural hub. Footfall crossed 1.5 crore in last 6 months, projected 5 crore annually. Traditional trustee model cannot handle security, sanitation, queue systems, darshan slots, donation audit.
So Trust is adopting corporate model - CEO, COO, CTO layers, KPI-based vendor management, AI-based crowd flow, cashless donation.
Local economy impact is huge. Better crowd management = longer stay, better experience = more international tourists. Hotel, transport, handicraft sectors booming.
This sets benchmark for other big temples - Tirupati, Kashi Vishwanath, Vaishno Devi. Big religion needs big management.
