 A 2,000-Bed State-of-the-Art Hospital in Bengal: 
The Adani Group, one of India's leading corporate houses, has made a significant announcement as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and healthcare expansion initiatives. The Group has declared plans to establish a massive, state-of-the-art super-specialty hospital and medical research centre with a capacity of 2,000 beds in West Bengal. An investment amounting to thousands of crores of rupees will be made in this ambitious project. Its primary objective is to provide world-class and affordable healthcare services in Eastern India, ensuring that local residents do not have to travel to other major states or abroad for medical treatment.

The proposed hospital will be fully equipped with modern medical technologies, including facilities for oncology (cancer treatment), cardiology (heart disease), neurosurgery, and organ transplants. Additionally, a state-of-the-art medical college and nursing institute will be established within the complex, where hundreds of young doctors and paramedical staff will be trained annually.
