History: Dogra dynasty ruled J&K 1846-1947 - Maharaja Gulab Singh, Hari Singh - Jammu Dogras 70% Hindu, 10% Muslim, pride in army recruitment - 70,000 Dogras in Indian Army. After 1947, Sheikh Abdullah's dominance, Jammu felt discriminated - 1970s Jammu agitation for parity, 2008 Amarnath land row where Jammu shut 40 days.
After Article 370 abrogation 2019, Jammu hoped for Dogra CM, got UT, LG rule 5 years. BJP promised Jammu CM if wins. NC won Valley, formed govt with Congress, Independents.
